You may know stunning Asa Akira from her role as official “Show Whore” on XM Radio’s Bubba the Love Sponge show, but if not, you’ll surely be seeing a lot of her soon. This New York City native is of Japanese descent, and she lived in Tokyo from ages six through 13, attending American schools. Now based in Brooklyn, Asa has no plans to leave NYC again – partially because she doesn’t drive, but mostly because she loves living in the city so much.

In 2008, shortly after turning 22, Asa made her first girl/girl scenes with Gina Lynn Productions, who also produced her boy/girl debut with Travis Knight. She also greatly impressed Vince Vouyer when he filmed a hot threesome between her, Anthony Rosano, and Jerry for the July 2008 Vouyer Media release Control Freaks. In her spare time, Asa enjoys hip-hop, indie movies, cartoons like Family Guy, and books like Bret Easton Ellis’s American Psycho and Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash.
