RealTouch, the choice of smart guys everywhere

Wednesday June 23rd, 2010
Last month, we ran an ad in the Harvard Lampoon, mainly as a lark; little did we know the response we’d get when the issue ran and Harvard men found RealTouch staring back at them from the sea of jokes, articles, and energy drink ads.

“We never expected to see any kind of noticeable return,” explains Suzann Knudsen, our Communications Director of Publicity and Social Media. “But then we got calls from students — they were interested in RealTouch academically. Technology students wanted to know more about the haptics involved in the RealTouch system, while social science students were interested in the cultural phenomena of it. We were definitely floored.”

While this wasn’t RealTouch’s first brush with academic greatness, it was definitely nice to be noticed once again, especially since we’re pretty sure we’ve got a bunch of devices en route to Cambridge right now. Especially nice is the fact that our ad and its success got covered in the Boston Herald, too.

I knew they grew ‘em smart up there!
