Yes, National Limerick Day is upon us this Wednesday, May 12. Scholars have held that the true limerick as a folk form is most always obscene, that the clean limerick is but a periodic fad and object of magazine contests, rarely rising above mediocrity. Couldn’t agree more.

To celebrate, we’re asking you to rise up, get bawdy and send us your favorite RealTouch inspired rhymes. We’ll choose our favorite and the winner will get [15] free minutes on his RealTouch account. No cost to enter or limit on entries so let your inner poet out for a while and have at it.

All submissions must be sent to contests@realtouch.com by end of day on Thursday, May 20, 2010. Winners will be announced on the blog by Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
