According to CBS News, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi – we just call him Hojo – was quoted in Iranian media last week as saying that “Many women who do not dress modestly … lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which (consequently) increases earthquakes.”

While a student at Purdue University organized a “Boobquake” event to disprove the cleric’s claims, we felt there might be some merit to his theory of tata-generated tremors.

That’s right, it’s Richter Scale Day again, the annual homage to American seismologist Charles F. Richter who was born 110 years ago today, the man who told us way before Carole King how much the earth moves under our feet.

As you learned watching Jeopardy, the Richter Scale describes the amount of energy released by an earthquake by measuring the magnitude of seismic waves produced. The Richter Scale measures from 0 to 9. On the scale, each increase in number represents an earthquake 10 times more powerful.

RealTouch was the hit of the Los Angles Adultcon Show last week. The popular Adult star fan fest which ran April 9-12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center gave fans a first-hand look at the high tech haptic device that delivers the authentic sexual sensations they are watching online. A special guest at the booth was internationally known author, educator and sex therapist Dr. Michael Perry, who has produced the top selling Better Sex video series, which is currently available on AEBN sites. RealTouch gets a shout-out tonight on Gadget Girlz, a brand new show produced in Canada by Positive Living Productions.

Gadget Girlz is sure to be a hit with the guys as it features four comely female hosts and a slew of the latest and greatest high tech toys. What’s not to love about that.

A segment on new and innovative sex toys features Cory Silverberg (About.com sexuality guide and founder of Come as You Are retail stores) talking about three new items, two for women and RealTouch.

Cory gives a good overview of RealTouch and calls it the most interesting use of technology so far while impressed host Sasha Estrada, says, “This is really new and immersive technology!”

Alas, the show is only on in Canada as well right now, making its debut on MenTV, a channel on the Rogers cable system on Thursday, April 15, at 3:30pm and 9:30pm EDT as well as 5:30am EDT on Friday 4/16.

For those south of the border, you will get to see it in the not too distant future. International distribution for the show will begin in the fall.
